The Green Sheikh believes that all people play equal part in the decisions affecting the future of our planet. He encourages his followers to support the following organizations.
Al Ihsan Charity Association
Al Ihsan Charity Association was established in 1990 by individual efforts. It has been officially declared in 1998 at Ajman Emirate under the name of "Al Ihsan Charity Association" through a honorable support of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ajman.
In 2012 Al Ihsan Association became licensed under the Social Wellfare Ministry.
Today, the Association continues its work under the sponsorship of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Nuaimi, and under the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Association. H.H. Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi spares no effort in his permanent support of the needy families to ensure their comfort and well-being by monthly and seasonal financial support and food.
The Emirates Down Syndrome Association
The UAE Down Syndrome Association endeavors to provide best practice and know-how to similar associations in the region in order to empower individuals with Down Syndrome. Our aim is to develop the maximum potential and skills of sufferers so they become productive and active members of the community through Education, Medical, social, sports and culture activities. We aspire to achieve our slogan: “disability is a potential not a deficiency” by nurturing individual potential among people with Down Syndrome at local, Gulf, Arab and international levels.
