Ajman, 2013

During the month of March, six young leaders from the US, Japan and the UAE participated in a 4-day pilot Green Sheikh Environmental Academy. Ishinomaki, 2012

With a group of young Emarati, Sheikh Abdulaziz visited Ishinomaki, one of the sites destroyed by the massive tsunami produced by by nuclear explosion.

Amazon Forest in Brazil, 2011

During this visit, the Green Sheikh discussed the link between the important role of saving the Amazon rainforest and the Combat Desertification action in the UAE. He explored the spiritual connection between the Arab and Amazon indigenous people in the diverse lands.​

Antarctica, 2010
​Sheikh Abdulaziz and 70 other team members embarked on an expedition to Antarctica to promote awareness about the effects of climate change, as well as to undergo leadership training.
The group cruised through the Drake Passage and landed on King George's Island, then went to a base in Bellingshausen, where the temperature was minus 1°. To the sheikh, the farthest reaches of the southern hemisphere provide the ideal setting for the task at hand.
